October 20th, 2011 – SPB Software, the leading software developer behind the global success of SPB Shell 3D, will now operate independently from SPB TV, the license owner of SPB TV. Both companies have shared infrastructure and personnel since SPB TV was incorporated in 2007. The SPB TV team will move to a new office space and start to operate as a completely separated business on October 24th, 2011.
Over the last few years, SPB Software has developed into a highly acclaimed UX and UI focused expert, while SPB TV has successfully competed on Mobile TV market, globally acknowledged for its SPB TV offering. Over the years, the team has worked successfully to build from the ground an end-to-end mobile TV infrastructure and solutions that now count more than 10 million subscribers worldwide as end-user products, and have been successfully deployed by the several world's leading mobile operators and content owners.
Both companies have established partnerships with the key leaders in the telecom ecosystem, and built loyal end-user customer bases. In the second and third quarters of this year, each company has faced new business opportunities which necessitated splitting up individual teams to grow their businesses independently.

Fedor Ezhov, the Senior Product Director for SPB TV will become COO of SPB TV.
